We really enjoyed our stay at lock house, beds and sofa was comfy. I know it’s an old property and that’s what appealed to us but a little more attention to the cleaning would be a plus. It’s location is perfect for eating out and exploring the surrounding areas.

The cottage is old so do not expect modern fixtures & fittings. What it has got is character, charm & very cosy. Everything there that you need. Comfortable beds. Close to all amenities. Great find

We had a lovely week at the Lock House. With lovely walks and the many and varied amenities on the refurbished Gloucester Quays and an easy short walk to the city centre.
The property itself is “tired” and in need of some real TLC. We recognise the age of the property and loved its quirkiness, but some decoration and particular attention to the shower units draining well are essential.
