Situated on the outskirts of Falmouth, Swanpool is a salt-water lagoon that is separated from its pretty beach by a shingle sandbar. At its northern end is a small nature reserve that provides shelter for a number of bird varieties in the area while the sand and shingle family-friendly beach has its own café as well as water sports equipment and kayak hire. A great place for novices and pros alike to enjoy a variety of water-based activities, Swanpool is also situated right on the coastal path providing plenty of opportunity to explore the beautiful natural surroundings of the area. Falmouth itself is home to an array of shops and eateries, and for those who fancy a round of golf, Falmouth Golf Club is just a short distance from the property.
