Monopoli has several beaches within walking distance and some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches such as Lama Monachile and Polignano a Mare are less than 20 minutes’ drive.

The white sandy beach is small but the water is clear and a great place for snorkelling. Shops, cafés and other amenities are all within easy reach.

Monopoli’s vibrant, weekly market (Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 7.30am) is the best place to pick up delicious local produce to cook at home. The closest airport is at Bari, a 50-minute drive from the apartment.
