The lagoon town of Port Grimaud is characterised by its unique architecture. Every house is located directly on the water and the town is criss-crossed by canals. Port Grimaud is therefore affectionately known by many as 'Little Venice' and is ideal for exploring by boat. The holiday home is located in a complex guarded by security and can only be accessed with the appropriate resident's pass. Guests are met at a gatehouse, escorted to the holiday home and familiarised with its special features. The terraced house is just 100 metres from the nearest sandy beach, Beach Sud. Picturesque towns such as Saint-Tropez, Gassin, Ramatuelle and Sainte-Maxime are in the immediate vicinity. Cities such as Nice, Cannes and Monaco are also beautiful destinations and can be reached quickly.
The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired. Guests can expect a cosy terraced house that has been renovated to the latest standards, is located directly on the waterfront, is fully equipped with air conditioning and has a private parking space. On the ground floor there is an open and generously equipped kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. There is a sociable dining area, a cosy living area with a double sofa bed and flat screen TV. There is also a guest WC. The 'Océan' bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 cm), a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a workstation with an additional internet connection. There is also a private bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC. The 'Soleil' bedroom has a choice of a single bed (90 x 190 cm) or pull-out double bed (180 x 190 cm), a wardrobe and a newly inserted mezzanine, which offers a further two beds (each 90 x 200 cm) and an additional wardrobe. This bedroom also has its own bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC.
The garden is small but lovely and borders one of the canals that are so typical of Port Grimaud. The garden is fenced off from the canal for children. There is a garden shower and a barbecue. The terrace is spacious and is certainly the main place for guests to spend time during the summer. A mooring (max. 10 metres) is also available on request. Please ask for this explicitly.
Special highlight: Guests have 2 free bicycles at their disposal for excursions in the immediate vicinity (helmets are not provided!). From June to September, two free tickets for the Coche d'Eau (a type of water bus) are available to guests. For families with small children there is 1 cot, 1 high chair and various sand toys. If guests are interested in hiring a larger boat, contact can be made with a service provider.
The area around Port Grimaud is diverse. Explore towns such as Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime, Gassin, Ramatuelle in the immediate vicinity or take trips to Cannes, Nice or Monaco. There are numerous wineries and wonderful beaches for sunbathing or water sports. The nearest beach is just 100 m from the house.
