Welcome to Heiligenhafen - the Baltic Sea at your doorstep!
The cozy vacation apartment is located on the ground floor and features a sun-drenched living area with a sofa corner and Smart TV, a dining area, and an adjacent open kitchenette.
In the rear living area, you will find a comfortable double bed (approx. 160 x 200 cm). From the living room, you can access the south-facing balcony with a view of the inland lake, right outside your door! The separate bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. Additionally, a free travel cot and a free high chair are available for your stay. The "Windjammer" house is ideally located for a vacation on the north side of the inland lake! The swimming beach is just a few steps away.
In general, the house is a good starting point for all the activities you might want to do on vacation: Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are in close proximity.
A bakery, bicycle rental, a mini-golf course, and – for the very sporty guests – a fitness studio are also just under 800 meters away.
There is a wonderful hiking trail to the cliff coast – depending on the season, you can encounter Galloway cattle and their calves here. Our charming old town is approximately 2 km away – it's best to stroll directly along the promenade of the inland lake to get to the hustle and bustle of the town.
With its traditional fishing harbor, numerous shopping opportunities, delicious restaurants, the "Graswarder" nature reserve, the fine beach, and the longest pier on the coast, our small harbor town has a great deal to offer. You can conveniently park your car in the house's parking space – and gladly leave it there.
In summer, in addition to the regular buses, the Heiligenhafen "Bimmelbahn" (mini train) operates, which quickly takes you to the town or the harbor, or you can simply rent a bicycle from the local rental service.
This makes you very flexible.
In general, Heiligenhafen is a great base for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Großenbrode in just over an hour – a little faster with an e-bike – or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and cycle directly to Fehmarn.
