La Cuevita (‘The Little Cave’) is located on the sunny side of the Goteras ravine, at an altitude of 450 metres.

It is just a 15-minute walk to the ceramist quarter La Atalaya in Santa Brígida (Gran Canaria).The property is in a listed Protected Landscape – a perfect retreat for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and finding inner peace.

There are interesting geological formations, wild olive trees and diverse birdlife, including birds of prey (eagles, kestrels, owls…) and others such as blackbirds, blue tits, robins, swifts…The interior of the house is bright and well-ventilated.

The bedrooms are welcoming and peaceful.

The traditional building techniques of cave houses – used by the very first inhabitants on the island – maintain an average temperature of 19ºC all year round, keeping the house warm in winter and cool in summer.There is a garden with several sunny and shady spaces.

Thanks to its orientation parallel to the E-W course of the ravine, from the garden one can contemplate the mountain tops and, in the far distance, the sea.Cleaning and laundry services are available for an extra fee.Breakfasts and suppers are offered upon request.There is an outdoor parking area.The owners live nearby.Guests must walk down from the parking area approximately 25 metres to the house.Comfortable footwear is recommended.
