The Pinos Altos complex is located in the beautiful area of Cala San Vicente, one of the most popular spots in Mallorca. Separated from Puerto Pollença by the mountains that make up the well-known Serra de Tramontana mountain range, Cala San Vicente lies in a small valley sheltered by a pine forest that stretches almost as far as its sandy beaches, crowned by the fantastic views offered by Cavall Bernat, a mountain with a vertical drop that juts several kilometres into the sea.
Cala San Vicente is the ideal place to enjoy a peaceful holiday. There are a number of shops, bars, restaurants, hotels and a medical centre clustered around its two small bays, separated by a rocky promontory.
As if that wasn't enough, just over five minutes drive takes you to Puerto Pollença, as well as the pretty old town of Pollença.
It is in this spot that Pinos Altos is located, next to the tall pine trees from which it takes its name. It is an excellent choice for families with small children, as well as couples who simply wish to relax. From the complex you can walk to the beach, and there is a bus stop very close by.
From the reception you can access the three different types of flats that make up the complex, as well as the swimming pool area. The main characteristics of each of the three types of flats are detailed below
- The Type 1 flats consist of a double bedroom, but can accommodate up to 4 people, as there are two sofa-beds in the living room. There are 8 Type 1 flats, all located in the main building. These flats are numbers 1-4-5-5-6-7-8-9-12. These flats have air conditioning in the bedroom and restricted opening hours, from 13:00 hours to 15:00 hours and from 19:00 hours to 07.00 hours.
- The Type 2 flats consist of a double bedroom and a single bedroom, but can accommodate up to 5 people, as there are two sofa beds in the living room. There are 4 Type 2 flats, all located in the main building. These flats are numbers 2-3-10-11. These flats have air conditioning in the bedrooms and have restricted opening hours, from 13:00 hours to 15:00 hours and from 19:00 hours to 07.00 hours.
- Type 3 flats consist of two double rooms, but have capacity for 6 people, as there are two sofa-beds in the living room. There are 4 Type 3 flats, all of them located in the annex building. These flats are numbers 13-14-15-16, only these flats have air-conditioning in the bedrooms and no restricted hours.
All type 1 and 2 flats have a living/dining room with satellite TV, and a kitchen with microwave, electric hob and fridge with freezer. Each room is equipped with an air-conditioning unit, and all flats have furnished balconies or terraces (14 of which overlook the swimming pool).
Type 3 flats consist of a living/dining room with satellite TV and an open-plan kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob and fridge with freezer compartment. Each room is air-conditioned and all flats have a furnished balcony/terrace (2 of which overlook the swimming pool)
The swimming pool has a separate children's section and is located on a spacious terrace.
Finally, there are communal washing machines and a storage area for up to 20 bicycles. THE TOURIST TAX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE RESERVATION AND MUST BE PAID BEFORE CHECK IN BY CREDIT CARD.

Lovely stay, had problem with kettle and coffee machine which was sorted straight away . Pool and pool area immaculate. The shower was usable but a bit wobbly, could do with a bit of attention and parking was a bit of an issue trying to find a space on the road. Nothing major to distract from our holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would love to return and also recommend

Quiet and convenient ground floor apartment within a block of 12. We had out own veranda and sitting area. With access to large shared pool.
Apartment smelt slightly damp. As we think it hadn't been used for a while. Just a 2 hob cooker and microwave. But was plenty for family of 4.
Parking on road outside or nearby Streets. We'd Definitely go back.
