Cosy flat with stone elements and a communal courtyard where you can have breakfast outdoors, on the island of Ortigia.
This flat, located on the ground floor, consists of a living area with sofa, TV and a well-equipped kitchenette, complete with induction hob. The bedroom, decorated with exposed white beams, has a double bed (2x2m), wardrobe and desk. The flat is completed by a bathroom with shower and a laundry room with washing machine.
Both rooms have two electric skylights.
In addition, from the Via Dione entrance there is access to a courtyard shared with other apartment buildings where guests can have breakfast outdoors on an outdoor table.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences of living in contact with the locals. If interested, contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
For lovers of relaxation and the sea, eastern Sicily and the surrounding area of Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and heading south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white colour of the sand. On the island of Ortigia, you will also find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach called Cala Rossa. Further south, some 30 km away, we find beautiful unspoilt and inaccessible beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Fauna Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, the Greek theatre of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi museum, and the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural beauty as well as its landscape, are definitely worth a visit. Not to be overlooked are Noto, the seafront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. In short, Sicily is a land to be explored and its natural and cultural beauties are treasures to fill your eyes with.
The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 65 km away, that of Comiso Pio La Torre 110 km. The Syracuse train station is very close to the bus terminal from the airport and a 15-minute walk from the flat.
