Our mountain hut is located in Hopfgarten/Defereggental (EAST TYROL), in a SECLUDED location at 1,568 m above sea level, in an idyllic alpine valley, and can accommodate 4 people.
The ideal place for those seeking relaxation, far from mass tourism, without TV and without Wi-Fi.
Treat yourself to a digital detox - offline is the new luxury! From here, there are many beautiful hiking opportunities on foot: ✔️ to the surrounding alpine pastures ✔️ to Glaurit waterfall, Geigensee lake, and Pumpersee lake ✔️ to the geographical center of East Tyrol, the Firstkogel, and much more. ✔️ or simply listen to the rushing mountain stream near the hut and let your soul unwind. ❗️IMPORTANT INFO❗️ 1 well-behaved dog allowed (€6 per night) - please indicate in the message when booking! The hut is accessible by car (not a sports car) via a single-lane, somewhat steeper gravel road (approx. 5 km).
You should be comfortable reversing the car to the nearest turnout in case of oncoming traffic (e.g., timber transport)! Parking is available directly in front of the accommodation. ✔️ Bookable only from May to October - minimum 5 nights ✔️ Arrival: Saturday or Sunday ✔️ Cancellations are subject to the Austrian Hotel Contract Conditions.
