The Bolthole

The Bolthole is a natural escape from everyday living into a haven surrounded by the beautiful Kentish countryside.  It has been designed and built lovingly by the owner and offers a clever roomy design, with floor to ceiling windows, allowing you to nature watch.  There are wildlife cameras set up in the 10 acre plot which you can turn on from the comfort of your cabin and watch what's been going on outside.  The Bolthole is welcoming and cosy and uses an energy efficient heating source.  It has an open plan living area and kitchen, which is well equipped and a double bedroom with en-suite wet room with underfloor heating and a hot tub.  There is an additional central utility kitchen with 2 washing machines, storage for wet coats and muddy boots.  There is also a pick your own herb garden for guest's use.  It is close to the pretty village of Biddenden and the larger town of Tenterden.  There are many gasto pubs locally, Biddenden Vineyards, Sissinghurst Castle, which you can walk to through the fields and the Sussex coast is only 23 mile away.  There is a local pub within walking distance, The Three Chimneys which welcomes dogs.

Luxuries: Amazon Echo smart speaker. The TV signal is terrestrial freeview. In addition to the TV, there is Digital Stream DVR (digital video recorder). This can be used to record TV programs to watch later.  There is an Android TV box. This enables you to operate android mobile apps and view them on the TV eg Youtube, Web pages or games. Xmeye and IP camera app will allow you to view wildlife and CCTV camera views.

Pets are allowed at this property by prior arrangement only. Extra charge may be payable (up to £35 per pet per week). Please contact the holiday cottage agency directly after booking to arrange.
