Villa Paola Tremezzo

Set on a sunny hillside, with spectacular views out over Lake Como, this independent villa combines traditional features with modern design.

Laid out over 2 floors, surrounded by an attractive private garden, this villa sleeps 10 people in comfort. It is an ideal base for a group of friends or a family holiday.

The spacious, airy living room has several French windows leading directly to the garden and looking out at the lake. It has polished wooden floors and elegant sofas. There is a workstation in one corner of the living area, with a wooden desk and another set of French windows leading to a shaded back garden. In a nook, tucked in the far corner of the living room, there is a sofa bed which converts into a comfortable sleeping area.

The large, open-plan kitchen is off the main living area. There is a dining table for casual meals and modern, fitted units as well as two more glass doors leading into the garden. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster and coffee machine.

Downstairs, the lower ground floor has another large sitting area, which is more casual. There are two further sofas and a smaller dining table.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, and 2 further bedrooms on the lower ground floor, off the living area.

The garden has stunning lake views and a dining table under a large parasol, for al fresco meals. There are many sun loungers for guests to relax and to the side of the house, there is a shaded area with olive trees and a hammock for some daytime napping.

Bedroom 1: An elegant room with a comfortable double bed, armchair, wardrobe and large French windows out onto the garden, offering beautiful lake views.
Bedroom 2: This serene bedroom, has a double bed and a striking antique wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: On the lower ground floor, this room has 2 attractive single beds and a large wardrobe
Bedroom 4: Also on the lower ground floor, this brightly furnished room has a bunk bed with wardrobe storage beneath it and a separate single bed.
Extra: The stylish sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathroom 1: This modern bathroom has a full bath with a shower attachment, basin, bidet and WC
Bathroom 2: An attractive, tiled bathroom with a glass shower, terracotta basin, bidet and WC.
Bathroom 3: On the lower ground floor this brightly coloured bathroom has a glass shower, a large wardrobe, a basin, a bidet and WC.

Location
The apartment is in a quiet, residential part of the village of Tremezzo, just a 10-minute walk from the shores of Lake Como. On the western hillside of the lake, the property offers stunning views across the roof of the Villa Sola Cabiatti, over Lake Como, and to the mountains beyond.

There are many beautiful villas and gardens to visit, no more than a 30-minute walk away, including the famous Villa Carlotta and the Parco Civico Teresio Olivelli. You can swim in the lake from the Parco Civico Teresio Olivelli. Guests can take a ferry from Tremezzo (a 15-minute walk) to Bellagio or Varenna and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

For guests who are looking for more excitement, there is Lake Como Adventures (a 10-minute drive), for a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months.

If the delicious local restaurants and trattorie inspire you to try your hand in the kitchen, the local Tremezzino farmers market (a 15-minute walk) takes place every Thursday morning. Here you will find an abundance of local fresh fruit and vegetables, cold cuts and artisanal cheeses. There are local markets in towns along the lake nearly every day, and the nearest grocery store is a 12-minute walk.

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1-hour 25-minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport is 1 hour and 20 minutes away.
