Modern, sleek and antiseptic the cottage is not, cosy comfortable, and full of character the cottage is. The hosts made us feel very welcome. The cottage is a good base for walks, and visiting the area, with a regular bus service into Liverpool Close by.

A beautiful quirky cottage with an interesting history. Very cozy and warm and plenty of room for 4 people. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Comfortable beds. Hosts friendly and informative. Easy walking distance to eat out. Great place for plane spotting. 👌

Beautiful authentic and historical cottage. Very comfortable, private, warm - fabulous log burner with wood provided for the duration - clean, great location. Very relaxing, everything provided. Highly recommended. Lovely walk by the Mersey, two pubs within close walking distance, pizza takeaway. Great base for Liverpool, Manchester, Chester. Couldn’t ask for more. A fantastic holiday
