It is particularly close to Cinderford and Mitcheldean, within the Forest of Dean.
Places of interest nearby include, English Heritage’s Goodrich Castle, the National Trust Round House and Naval Temple, Norchard Railway Station Museum on the Dean Forest Railway, the Forest Adventure Outdoor Centre, Puzzlewood, Monmouth Castle and the regimental centre.
There are also walks, golf and mountain biking nearby.

The cottage is in a peaceful location, but not too far from village shops. There are woodlands within walking distance which is ideal for dog walks.
Had a nice relaxing week, the only downside being the weather but that can't be helped.

We had a lovely week break with our dog, It is a really comfortable, beautifully clean, cozy cottage. The owners had thought of everything that you may need during a stay here and there was even a lovely welcome hamper on our arrival. Importantly for us the ample sized garden was safe and secure for our dog. In a good location on the outskirts of town for shops or to visit attractions around.

A great base for exploring the area on foot and by car. Very quiet and private with a Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs. Good overall layout with a very Comfy bed. Great cafes and takeaways close by.
