Hare’s Furrow and Under Willow are set between the market town of Market Harborough, with its array of independent and high street shops, cafés and restaurants, and the city of Leicester, 8 miles, which offers a great shopping experience and is home to Leicester FC, Leicester Racecourse and the King Richard III Visitor Centre.
The village of Foxton is 8 miles away and home to the famous flight of ten locks on the Grand Union Canal, named Foxton Locks, and being over 200 years old, are now Grade II listed.
You can also enjoy a visit to the historic boiler house or take a boat trip along the canal.
Also worth visiting is the National Space Centre at Abbey Meadows, 10 miles away. About 20 miles away you will find Rutland Water, a large manmade reservoir that provides entertainment for all the family, including a number of water sport activities, bird watching, walking and cycling tracks.

A great little cabin under the willows. Hot tub is a real bonus. The cabin is very clean & situated on a lovely plot of land which is very private. Local pubs are close by but the food at The Bell in Burton Overy, is a must visit. A great few days to recharge your batteries!

Great little place, very pretty and peaceful. Set in a secluded garden with lovely bird song. Nice welcome basket and welcome from Sarah. Perhaps the hot tub could be cleaned a bit more regularly. We were there for 4 days and it was looking a bit murky by the 3rd. Great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Should have booked a longer stay.
