This charming semi-detached cottage boasts a light and spacious open plan living space, alongside a comfortable double bedroom snuggled within the eaves. The nearby market town of Stowmarket has lots of great places to eat, drink and shop and is also home to the Museum of East Anglian Life, which is well worth a visit.
Venture a little further however and you will find that you are in the perfect position to explore Suffolk, or alternatively hop on a train to the medieval city of Norwich, bursting with interesting spots to visit and sure to impress the history buff in the family.
The much celebrated and photographed villages of Lavenham and Long Melford are close by, as are Ipswich, with its picturesque quay, Bury St Edmunds, with its famous abbey and amazing Christmas market, and Newmarket, where you can enjoy horse races and more. Nature lovers should take the time to visit Thetford Forest, where the more adventurous can also experience Go Ape.
Coastal lovers can explore the Suffolk Heritage Coast, starting with Aldeburgh and then traveling to Southwold with its pier and painted beach huts.
