Nearby Creswell Crags has Britain’s only Ice Age cave painting, and a short drive will take you to Laxton’s Medieval Farming System and the thought provoking National Holocaust Centre.

Lovely cottage. Would 100% stay here again.Wanted a little local break away to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. Was perfect - hot tub was great. The cottage had everything you needed. I loved the location, not too out of the way, but enough that it was quiet and peaceful.

Everything was really lovely and clean. The private hot tub was not so private as we realised next door cottage were using it too! So a bit disappointing to find out we were sharing 😕
