Cordorcan Cottages are located only 5 miles from the centre of Newton Stewart with many excellent shops and places to eat. With the Galloway Forest and Dark Skies Park close by, the cottage is ideally placed to explore the beauty of south west Scotland.
The location is perfect for walkers, golfers and cyclists, with Glentrool, Kirroughtree and the 7Stanes mountain bike trails nearby, as well as a great choice of golf courses.

A beautiful place to stay and to explore the Galloway hills.
A long way from any shops so stock up well on EVERYTHING you need before arriving if you don't want to make more car trips. No welcoming pack to fall back on.

Our 3rd visit to the Cordorcan Cottages which speaks for itself! Very comfortable cottage, off the beaten track in a lovely woodland setting but within reach of Newton Stewart amenities. An abundance of wildlife and walks in the area with access to both forest and fascinating coastline. Owners very helpful and friendly. Hope to return for a 4th visit - still too many places to visit.

What an amazing location! Ideal if you like to be remote, yet all town amenities within 5 or 6 miles. We stayed at probably the best time of year when all the fresh green spring flora and fauna adorned the tree canopy and bluebells carpeted the woodland. Also a great base for touring the wider area with beaches, castles, gardens, pretty towns and villages. I feel a return trip is a must!
