Blackberry Barn and Bramble Barn are single-storey barns of original red brick, and have been lovingly restored to a good standard by the owners who live next door.

Both barns retain many of the original features such as traditional oak trusses, solid stone flooring and beautiful gardens but with the modern luxury of underfloor heating. Set in 25 acres of untouched pasture and meadow land on the fringes of The Cotswolds, and within easy reach of the Forest of Dean, the spa towns of Cheltenham and Bath, the cities of Bristol and Gloucester and many historical towns.

There is a wide range of activities available ranging from enjoying the tranquillity, to taking day trips to the many local cities, enjoying a game of golf, fishing, local equestrian attractions at Badminton, Chepstow and Cheltenham, and walking the Cotswold Way.

The towns and villages nearby harbour a variety of pubs and restaurants or if you prefer to cater for yourselves, the cottages are well equipped with contemporary kitchens.

Two fields are directly in front of and to the side of the barns, and the other can be accessed via the gateway directly opposite Bramble Barn.You might also enjoy a local river walk.

Use the footpath that runs alongside the barns, go under the railway bridge until you get to a mill with very tall trees, walk along the footpath directly under the tall trees, once over the little footbridge you can take the left fork to go into Charfield Village, or the right fork for the river walk and onwards to Tortworth.There is also a very nice little woodland and nature reserve bordering our field, to get to this go left out of the barns until you get to a very steep hill.
