Sea Blue Cottage is a great little hideaway, perfectly positioned only yards from Scarborough’s award-winning sandy beach and sea front, providing a perfect holiday home which enhances the nearby sea views from the living room.

The owners have done a fantastic renovation of this 150-year-old property into a well-equipped holiday retreat. Within seconds, guests can be sitting on the beach or paddling in the sea, and there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants within close proximity.

The town of Scarborough, with its great shopping area, is only a matter of yards away.

It is an ideal base for couples or families looking to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire. There is a choice of two bays to explore; the South Bay has all the hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside resort, with donkeys, amusements and pleasure steamers, including the famous pirate ship.

The North Bay is much quieter, with a long promenade to stroll along, and at the end the guests will reach the Sea Life Centre and the Open Air Theatre, the largest open-air theatre in Europe. Scarborough also has the benefit of a 12th Century castle, which has breathtaking views across the coastline, and during the summer months there are events taking place, a great place for children.

The town of Scarborough has much offer in the form of the Rotunda Museum, the art gallery or the famous Scarborough Spa, in all Scarborough has something for everyone.
