There is superb scenic coastal walking, bird watching and of course water activities to be found on Portland or in Weymouth harbour, be it wind surfing, yachting, boating, fishing, swimming or simply sunbathing on the beach.
One can explore Portland with its castle, museums and Sailing Academy, or onto the Chesil Beach and World Heritage Coast down to Lyme Regis or up to Lulworth Cove, or visit Weymouth and Dorchester with their many family attractions.
Perhaps even take a day trip on the ferry to Jersey or Guernsey.

Lovely cottage . Well Situated with amenities nearby. Very comfortable and with excellent equipment. The owners are very helpful and respond to any queries or very quickly. We loved the setting and nearby facilities. The hot tub was much appreciated.
