Hen Ysgubor is a ground floor Barn Conversion apartment situated below Ysgubor Uchaf which is the first floor apartment.
The Farm overlooks the beautiful Mawddach Estuary, just off the coastal road to Fairbourne.
Both properties are close for the beautiful Mawddach Estuary footpath and coastal trail/cycle path and direct access from the farm leads down to the golden sands of Fairbourne beach or across the Victorian bridge to Barmouth. If you wish you can just relax, enjoy a spot of fishing nearby, or the more energetic can enjoy family walks in the idyllic scenery in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Snowdonia National Park.
The family run pony trekking and equestrian centre on-site is just on the north side of the farm with menage (arena) for lessons, and riders and complete beginners are catered for. Holiday stabling is available by arrangement should you wish to bring your own horse.

This is a lovely cottage very well equipped. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Although there is noise from the activity centre this did not spoil or interrupt the break. I would certainly recommend.

We had a really nice time here as a bit of a working break. The WiFi was great throughout the cottage so we could be on calls in different places. Local chippy was good and restaurants in Barmouth (a short walk away) were nice. The scenery is stunning and the sunny weather made the trip even better.

Be very aware that this is on a campsite so can be busy. For me the biggest issue was that I had missed that there is further accommodation above the property so that it is an apartment rather than a cottage. We had people above for only 2 of our 7 night stay which I was very grateful for. The sound...
