The holiday farm has three fully equipped flats. These are situated around a beautiful courtyard garden and each has a separate entrance and its own terrace with plenty of privacy. There is a swimming pool of 4 by 8 metres with a private terrace for guests to use in the months of May to September (12.00-20.00).The CASITA can accommodate up to four people. The flat was furnished in the former coach house of the farm. It consists of a spacious living room with a comfortable double sofa bed, a sofa, chairs, a dining area, a TV with DVD player and a wood-burning stove. In the bedroom there is a spacious four-poster bed and there is air conditioning (extra charge), There is a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. There is a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. This flat is adjacent to another holiday home (STUDIO). There is the possibility to use a washing machine and washing lines. Towels, bed linen, kitchen towels and drinking water are included in the price.
The village of Alcuéscar with its restaurants and cafés is three kilometres away. Here you can do your daily shopping in the well-stocked supermarkets. There is a bakery, an artisan butcher and shops. On Fridays there is a weekly market with a selection of fresh vegetables, fruit and local products such as cheese and cold meats. The finca is located directly on the Way of St James and the Via de la Plata. There are several restaurants and a petrol station 850 metres from the finca, where you can also buy fresh bread and local produce.Dogs and horses are welcome, but please register in advance. The finca is an ideal starting point to visit Cáceres, Mérida, Trujillo and Guadalupe (historical cities). For nature there are natural parks (e.g. the Montfragüe National Park) and several reservoirs (Proserpina, Orellana). From the finca there are numerous hiking and cycling trails that lead through valleys, hills, forests, marshes and lakes. Although the finca is only a five-minute drive from the Cáceres-Mérida motorway (A66), you cannot hear or see it.
The finca is 5.5 hectares in size and is accessible to all guests. Near the holiday flats there is a communal garden with its own terrace.
The finca is easily accessible. From the EX 382 you drive up the Gordel de Merida. The old spring path. This is a 5 metre wide gravel road. From Alcuéscar, take the 4 metre wide Calle Real, which starts as an asphalt/concrete road and turns into a hard dirt track halfway up. *Bringing dogs and other (domestic) animals into the pool area used by the guests of a holiday accommodation is prohibited by law.
*Pets are not allowed to roam freely on the grounds of Casa Rural and in the stables. Pets must be kept on a lead or kept close to the holiday home. This is necessary to avoid disturbing other guests and/or our animals.
*Dogs are allowed to run free in the farm fields as long as they do not disturb the grazing animals, the vegetable garden and the animals living there (e.g. nesting birds, turtles, rabbits and hares).
*A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per accommodation.
*Pets must be registered in advance.
*Pets must be microchipped and have the necessary vaccinations and a valid ID, which must be presented on arrival.
