Get to know this 18th century (former) hunting lodge! Surrounded by a lovely wooded park, in the countryside and 2,5 km away from Valognes, sometimes referred to as the Versailles of Normandy. Visit the famous Airborne museum in Sainte-Mère-Église (20 km). This place is famous for the parachutist doll hanging off the church tower, a memorial to parachutist John Steele, who was caught on the church steeple on D-Day.

The seaside resort of Barneville-Carteret is worth a visit; from the harbour you can take the boat to the Channel Islands Jersey and Guernsey.
