Our house was first documented in 1421 as "Taverne zur Römerstraße". The owner, Mr. Dr. Georg Wallner, took over the inn known to Salzburgers as "Römerwirt" from his parents in 2002. In July 2003, the newly renovated Hotel Via Roma**** opened.
Our establishment features 30 fully air-conditioned rooms (single rooms, double rooms, one-room, and two-room apartments).
Behind the building, there are free parking spaces in the courtyard, as well as a cozy garden for our guests.
Located in the Nonntal district, south of Hohensalzburg Fortress, the hotel is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Salzburg's Old Town.
Free parking spaces in the courtyard are available subject to availability.
It is possible to rent a parking space in the carport for €15.00 per day.
A one-time final cleaning fee of €75.00 applies to the apartments.
The local tax of €3.55 per person/night is not included in the room price.
Breakfast can be booked in advance or on-site for €25.00 per person.

From the A1 motorway, take the Salzburg Süd exit.
At the first intersection (Anif), turn left towards Hellbrunn.
Afterward, continue straight along the main road until you reach the hotel. Arrival by public transport: In front of the main train station, take bus number 5 (towards Birkensiedlung/Kommunalfriedhof) from the platform labeled "Altstadt/Zentrum". The journey takes approximately 15 minutes, and the stop to get off at is called "Wäschergasse". You will find our hotel directly opposite the bus stop, on the other side of the street.

Sollten wir demnächst wieder nach Salzburg kommen, werden wir dieses Hotel aus jeden Fall wieder berücksichtigen, war insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Die Buchung über Tourismus Salzburg wurde vom Hotel nur teilweise übernommen. Statt 2 DZ u. 1 EZ war nur 1 DZ u. 1 EZ in der Reservierungsliste des Hotels.
