Our holiday apartments, Ferienwohnungen Walser, in Maurach am Achensee are located in a sunny, quiet hillside position.
The garden, in particular, offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The bus stop is also easily accessible, so there’s nothing standing in the way of endless fun on the slopes in our ski areas.
For those who prefer to enjoy nature to the fullest, you can join one of our guided winter hikes with the rangers from the Karwendel Nature Park. In summer, the Achensee with all its water sports opportunities is easily accessible, and mountain enthusiasts can start a hike directly from their doorstep.
For those who prefer to be transported to lofty heights by cable car, the Rofanbahn and Karwendel-Bergbahn cable cars are available. Further excursion destinations such as the Achensee boat trips, the Achenseebahn cog railway, and many more are also easily reachable. Our two holiday apartments are 50 to 54 m² in size and comfortably equipped. We are already looking forward to welcoming you to the Achensee! Your Walser Family Inntalautobahn A12 (vignette required), exit Wiesing/Achensee, Achensee-Bundesstraße B181, after 7 kilometers you will reach the center of Maurach. A toll-free journey via the Achenpass or Bad Tölz is also possible.
From Munich to the motorway exit Holzkirchen, Tegernsee, Achenpass or Bad Tölz – across the border via Achenkirch continue to Maurach. Getting here by public transport: Take the train to Jenbach station.
From there, take the public bus to Achensee.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (approx. 50km), Munich (approx. 140km) and Salzburg (approx. 150km).
