A delightful flat on the ground floor of a renovated historic building overlooking Giardino Garibaldi in Piazza Marina.
White is the dominant colour in this comfortable flat, from the magnificent barrel vaults to the wooden plank floor. The furnishings in contrasting tones add a touch of liveliness.
From outside, there is direct access to the living area furnished with a double sofa bed, workstation and dining area with TV. In this large space, there is also an American-style kitchen, well-equipped and complete with microwave and coffee machine, as well as a counter with stools.
The double bedroom is very intimate and the walls are in the style of exposed tuff, an original element of the house, enriched by lunettes where small personal belongings can be deposited. Finally, there is a bathroom with a shower that is very comfortable and carefully designed.
Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a heat pump complete the property.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
The house is ideally located for a holiday in the historic city centre. In fact, the flat is well located near the Cala, the city's tourist port, a place of magnificent walks during the day and social life in the evening. Just a stone's throw from Piazza Marina and Basile's garden are Palazzo Abatellis, Palazzo Mirto and Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri, as well as the Marionette Theatre, a traditional expression of local art, and Via Maqueda, which together with Via Ruggero VII and Via della Libertà has been Palermo's main shopping street for over a century. Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the Vucciria market and the Cathedral are also less than 10 minutes away.
The central train station is about 1 km away, the terminus of all trains and buses from the airport. From the same station, several buses depart for places such as Mondello or Monreale.
