Information about the host
The vacation apartment is located in its own annex in Haus Grundbichl only 500 m from Königssee. The house is quiet, but centrally located. From the FeWo with the small terrace you have a wonderful view of the surrounding Berchtesgaden Alps. Directly in front of the house start the hiking trails to the Grünstein and Watzmann, not far away those in Göllgebiet, Hagengebirge or Steineres Meer. In less than 10 minutes you can walk to the Königssee with the possibility to take a boat across the lake. More than 10 restaurants are within walking distance in less than 15 min. Also the internationally known Eis Arena Königssee (bobsleigh and toboggan run) and the Jennerbahn (cable car at 1800 m with magnificent views) are within easy walking distance.By car or public transport you can reach Berchtesgaden, the mountaineering village Ramsau or the other numerous destinations of the Berchtesgadener Land in a short time. Also the neighboring cities like Bad Reichenhall or Salzburg, with their numerous cultural offers you can reach after only about 30 min by car. In the winter months you can choose between skiing or snowboarding in the Jenner ski area (10 min walk), numerous cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs or cleared winter hiking trails.

Arrival Description
You can reach us toll-free via the A8 Munich-Salzburg. Here take the exit (Bad Reichenhall) before the border Austria and follow the B 20 to Berchtesgaden. Continue on the highway over the border VIGNETTENPFLICHTIG. At the traffic circle near the main station in Berchtesgaden take the exit to Königssee and continue to follow the main road. Opposite the gas station in front of the parking lot Königssee turn right. After 300 m, directly after a bridge, turn into the street "An der Seeklause", which branches off to the left. The FeWo is in the 1st house on the right (house Grundbichl No. 6). In front of the house are two parking spaces, here you can park your car.Arrival by public transport: By train to the main station Berchtesgaden, from here by cab or bus 841 (hourly) in 8 min to the stop "gas station, Schönau a. Königssee". From the bus stop follow the street "Schornstraße" to the right, finally over a bridge. Behind the bridge you will find Haus Grundbichl after 200 m on the right side (5 min. from bus stop).

Description of the accommodation
Small, separately accessible, ground-level non-smoking apartment (26 sqm) for two people. Combined bedroom/living room with sitting area, HDTV TV, W-LAN. Fully equipped fitted kitchen (2 plate H-stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and radio) with sitting area. Separate bathroom with shower and toilet (hairdryer). Next to the apartment is a small covered terrace. Parking space directly at the house entrance.
