Old traditional Vercors house (alt. 1,100m), in open countryside 15 min. from Saint-Jean-en Royans, comprising 2 gîtes.
Fully and tastefully renovated by Annabelle, the owner.
Ground floor: entry direct into large living room (54 sq.m., wood pellet stove), open-plan kitchen area, lounge & dining areas. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (queen-size bed) (2 single beds) (2 single beds), shower room (walk-in shower), WC.
Separate outdoor area (not overlooked by other gîte). Enjoy a peaceful outdoor holiday in this gîte on edge of forest with mountain views.
Winter skiing and snowshoeing at Font d'Urle ski resort (30 min.).
In summer hiking and cycling on the plateaus or through the gorges (La Bourne, Combe-Laval, etc.), for people of all ages and abilities.
The Vercors is also of great historical interest - French Resistance Memorial, paddle boat, Water museum will appeal to the young and not so young.
Food lovers will enjoy sampling Vercors trout and the famous 'ravioles' (local form of ravioli), after a 'vin de noix' (walnut wine) aperitif.

Gîte très agréable de part la gentillesse de sa propriétaire et tout le confort.Nous avons passé un court séjour au calme au milieu de la nature.Idéal pour déconnecter (même si le Wifi fonctionne très bien!)Le gîte est vraiment très bien équipé. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner !! Pleins de balades au alentours.

Super séjour de 2 nuit avec un couple d’amis et 3 enfants dans le gîte Venus.Super accueil d’Anabelle. Super gîte spacieu et très bien équipé. Le spa et la salle de jeu ( billard, baby…) sont juste top.A recommander et à refaire

Le top des gites loués par notre famille chaque année depuis longtemps : situation exceptionnelle au calme loin des usines à ski... qualité des équipements mis à disposition... confort d'une maison moderne... disponibilité de la sympathique propriétaire... bref, nous reviendrons !
