La Vernaison gîte is close to a stream (with which it shares a name), adjoining owner's home and the Atelier (room available for activities, courses, seminars, training, meditation). Ground floor: kitchen opening onto living room & lounge area, 3 bedrooms - 1 with en-suite shower room & WC (double bed) (2 single beds) (2 single beds), bathroom, separate WC. La Vernaison is on same property as another gîte, L'Oasis du Vercors.
They can be rented together for a total of 20 people. La Vernaison gîte is in hamlet of Chabottes, at Saint-Agnan-en-Vercors, 15km from Le Col de Rousset ski resort, 20km from Le Font d'Urle.
In the Vercors Regional Nature park with lots of activities, especially on the High Plateaus - skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, walking, mountain biking, potholing, canyoning, climbing... Other 'must-see' destinations: Museum of the Resistance at Vassieux, Vercors farms (local produce), breathtaking roads (Gorges de la Bourne, Petits et Grand goulets, Combe Laval). A complete change of scene, the peace and quiet of wide open spaces - this is the perfect place for an active or relaxing holiday.

Très satisfait de ce séjour à la Vernaison. Très bon accueil du propriétaire, aux petits soins pour ses locataires et bon conseil pour les lieux de randonnées. Gîte propre, déco sympa,bonnes literies, bien équipé, on a passé un bon séjour.
