This detached house is located in the small village of Botija, with less than 200 inhabitants, in Extremadura. The surrounding countryside offers numerous pastures and the river Tamuja is nearby.
The 20 m² porch offers a second access to the street and has a table with chairs, a stone bench, a parasol and a barbecue.
The house, dating from the 19th century, was completely restored and renovated in 2007 and still retains the traditional architecture typical of the area, with maximum comfort, which gives it its charm. Wide stone walls, vaulted ceilings, gables on the doors and lintels on the windows, as well as the original kitchen floor from the period. Only the ground floor is occupied; the upper floor is closed and used as a storage room. The ground floor is distributed into a spacious living-dining room with a three-seater sofa and a two-seater sofa, a fireplace, a TV set and a dining table with chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. The two bedrooms have a 150 cm wide double bed and a wardrobe. The en suite bathroom has a shower, bidet, washbasin and toilet. The second bathroom has a bath, washbasin and toilet. There is also a small storage room. In addition to the fireplace, all rooms have central heating and radiators. Thanks to the wide walls and the high vaulted ceilings, air conditioning is not necessary, and the fans are sufficient for the high temperatures.
There are shops about 200 metres away and restaurants four kilometres away. There is a fishing spot about 3 km away and the nearest bathing area about 4 km. A tennis court and the nearest golf course are about 32 km away. The airport is about 150 km away.

This home is centrally located and great for visiting the surrounding areas. The host was helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Overall one of the better vacation homes we have stayed in.
