Description
Welcome to our Domäne Groschwitz holiday farm. Our farm, whose history dates back to the 15th century, invites you to linger, relax and unwind. We are happy to accommodate families with children, couples, single or group travellers. We can provide you with suitable rooms for your family or club celebrations. There is a festival barn on our farm which can be used for celebrations or seminars. In the farm shop you can buy game meat from our own farm.
While the little ones romp around in our playground, the older ones can pass the time playing volleyball, bolts or table tennis. A successful day on holiday ends in the farm's own sauna.
Groschwitz is a suburb of Rudolstadt. The proximity to the Saale valley and the Thuringian Forest offers a wide range of leisure activities. Not far from the farm are numerous hiking, riding and cycling trails as well as an aerodrome and motorsport centre. Hunting is also possible. Numerous castles and palaces, the Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Oberweißbach mountain railway and the Schwarzatal railway are just as easy to reach as Weimar, Jena and the state capital Erfurt and many other excursion destinations.
Adventure tip: Opportunities for horse riding directly at the farm, for flying and motor sports as well as hunting

On the day of arrival Monday to Friday we expect you between 13.00 and 16.00; on weekends from 14.00We ask our guests to vacate the accommodation by 10.00 on the day of departure

Shepherd's wagon with 3 beds, small wardrobe and seating. An electricity connection is available. You can use the sanitary facilities in the nearby sauna. Suitable for your short holiday or as additional overnight accommodation for larger families. The caravan is not heated and can therefore only be used in the summer months. You have a marvellous view of the Saale valley and the game reserve.
