Don't feel like cooking? Then you can easily walk from the house to the centre where you enjoy a typical Austrian dinner. In the winter, you probably come here for the winter sports. Werfenweng has a small ski area which is ideal for families with smaller children or beginners. From the village you can step right into the Rosnerköpfl gondola, which takes you straight to the ski area, ideal. The experienced skier or boarder can find an excellent spot 30 kilometres further on. Here you will find the Ski Amadé, the largest skiing area in Europe. Would you like to explore the beautiful surroundings in a different way in winter? The 57 km of cross-country skiing tracks make this possible. In the summer, you can go on wonderful mountain hikes or go on an adventure with your mountain bike. Real daredevils can even paraglide here. And if you need to cool off, walk to the crystal-clear mountain lake Wengsee where you can take a refreshing dip
