The nearest supermarkets are less than a 10 minute drive (4km) away in the nearby villages of Valleseco and Firgas, although there are more local amenities in Las Palmas, the island's main city, which is a 20 minute drive (22km) away. The distance from "La Acequia" to the airport is 40km and to the main tourist centres in the south of the island 60km.
