Description
Welcome to beautiful Schleswig-Holstein - in the middle of the Steinburger Geest.
Our holiday flat is located in Bokelrehm, in the immediate vicinity of Wacken,
where the world's biggest heavy metal festival takes place every year in August.
Otherwise it is very quiet and relaxing - in the middle of a wooded area.
The nearby Kiel Canal (approx. 5 km away) invites you to go for a walk and cycle.
You can still watch the ships sailing from Kiel to Brünsbüttel.
The North Sea and the North Sea resort of Büsum can be reached in three quarters of an hour via the A23 motorway. Other excursion destinations worth seeing are Friedrichskoog with the seal breeding station (approx. 30 km), Friedrichstadt with its canals, the Amsterdam in the north (45 km), Hamburg (approx. 70 km), the state capital Kiel (70 km).
The surrounding area is easy to explore by bike. The climatic health resort of Burg on the other side of the canal is worth a visit with its small shops, café and wooded surroundings. In Schenefeld, 9 km away, there is the natural swimming pool Luisenbad.
Bokelrehm is 2 km from Wacken, known for the annual heavy metal festival WOA. In the immediate vicinity is a forest area for hiking, cycling, walking ... The Kiel Canal is 5km away , the natural pond Luisenbad in Schenefeld 9km , the North Sea is about 35 km away . Within a radius of approx. 20 km there are many small towns with sights, opportunities for shopping and strolling such as Wilster or Burg on the other side of the NOK. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you have come to the right place. Our affiliated family-run farm offers the opportunity to observe agriculture real and live .
On site, the shady terrace under trees invites you to linger or barbecue in summer. The large garden invites you to play, sunbathe or swing in the hammock. A second terrace with barbecue facilities is available.
Your bicycles can be stored in the shed, a car parking space in the carport is available.

Your holiday flat is available from 14:00 on the day of arrival and until 10:00 on the day of departure.
A deposit of 20% of the total price is required immediately after booking.

From 13 - 4 days before arrival we charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the rental price, from 3 days before arrival 100% of the rental price.
No refund in case of early departure. We strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
As an additional service, we offer a filled fridge with products from our region for a balanced breakfast for two people on arrival at a price of 25,- Euro.
Please let us know if the extra service filled fridge is desired.
On request, we deliver the bread rolls to the house in the morning.
Description of arrival
Our holiday flat is located in Bokelrehm at the entrance to the village near Wacken. Wacken can be reached via the A23 motorway from Hamburg towards Heide, exit Wacken / Schenefeld. In Wacken turn right to Bokelrehm, after about 2km you reach Bokelrehm. Just after the town sign you will find our family farm with the cowshed on the left and the house with the farm buildings on the right.
In the neighbouring village of Wacken there are shopping facilities, a pharmacy, doctor and dentist and an outdoor swimming pool.
Arrival and departure regulations
Arrival is possible from 14.00, departure by arrangement until 12.00, otherwise until 10.00
Description
The 80sqm holiday flat on the upper floor of the house has two rooms.
The spacious entrance area leads into the living room with kitchenette and dining area. In the living area there is a corner sofa with sleeping function, an armchair, TV and a wall bed as an additional sleeping option.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, two hotplates, refrigerator, a small oven, coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
The bedroom with double bed has a small south-facing balcony, which offers a wonderful view over our paddocks.
The shower room with washbasin and the WC with washing facilities are separate.
