**About the Host** Welcome to our traditional Black Forest farm. The Kempfenhof is located in a sunny side valley surrounded by meadows.

The forest begins directly behind the farm, inviting you to enjoy an active holiday (hiking, walking, cycling, horseback riding, and much more) or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet, listen to the birdsong, do nothing at all, and recharge your batteries.

Nature offers a huge playground for children.

Far from cars (no through traffic), your children can experience the diversity of the countryside. We have many animals to pet and cuddle.

Our farm is home to horses, ponies, llamas, donkeys, the farm dog Maila, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, and above the farm, there is a red deer enclosure. We are involved in agriculture and forestry.

You are welcome to watch us work or lend a hand yourself. Furthermore, our farm offers: a distillery, bread baking, our own products or products from the region, a large play and barbecue area, a natural playground, a game and leisure room, a sunbathing lawn, our own water treading facility, table tennis, darts, table football, opportunities for riding and hunting, and much more. In our comfortably furnished apartments or rooms, everyone will find their oasis of peace and comfort. 6 comfortably furnished holiday apartments for 1-5 people, prices vary depending on the number of people/season.

Apartments start at €40.00, 1 single/double room with mini-kitchen/shower/toilet, overnight stay per person starting at €27.00, and 1 comfort cottage for max. 5 people, price starting at €90.00, invite you to *relax - experience - enjoy*.

One apartment is barrier-free. Short-term guests are welcome at any time for an additional charge! We look forward to seeing you! **Conditions/Extras** Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation, short-term changes, or early departure, the following cancellation fees apply: - Long-term cancellation or rebooking: €20 - Cancellation four weeks before arrival: 10% of the travel price - Cancellation three weeks before arrival: 50% of the travel price - Cancellation from two weeks before arrival: 90% of the travel price - No refund for late arrival or early departure. In case of cancellation, we will try to rent out the apartment/house again.

If this is successful, you will only pay a €20 administration fee. A deposit of 40% of the total price is required immediately after booking. Payment: You will receive the booking confirmation/invoice by email after completing the booking - a deposit of 40% is due immediately - the remaining balance is due 21 days before arrival.

Short-term bookings can be paid upon arrival - either in CASH or by EC card. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to holiday with us - but not in all apartments, so please always register your pet! We charge €8.00 per pet per day. Smoking is not permitted in our apartments. Arrival is possible from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM or by arrangement. Departure is by 10:00 AM or by arrangement. Washing machine/dryer/iron/ironing board/drying facilities/laundry drying room available for shared use in the main house - the clothesline behind the main house can also be used.

In addition, each apartment has a drying rack. Our prices include utilities; only the local visitor's tax of €1.70 per adult per day is added.

In return, you receive completely free entry to the Seelbach swimming pool and the Lahr indoor pool, free bus travel, a €5 snack voucher per apartment, and much more. **Directions** Directions to the "Kempfenhof" Take the Lahr motorway exit and drive towards Kinzigtal. Drive through the town of Lahr, the districts of Kuhbach and Reichenbach.

Then turn right towards Seelbach.

At the roundabout, drive towards the town center, drive through Seelbach until you almost reach the end of the town and see the following signs: Large and green: Ferien auf dem Bauernhof und auf dem Lande (Farm and Country Holidays) Small: Litschental Signs: Hasenberg Hammerschmiede Kempfenhof Follow these signs.

Always stay on this road; you will see the "Kempfenhof" sign 3 more times. After approx. 2.5 km, you will see the sign "Ferien auf dem Kempfenhof" on the right side of the road.

Immediately after this sign, turn right, drive through an old farmhouse, and you will reach us after approx. 200 meters.
