On the ground floor of the holiday home, you will find a modern kitchen equipped with a gas stove (5 burners), a microwave-oven combination, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a filter coffee machine (filters are provided), a kettle, a toaster, crockery/cutlery and glasses for a total of 12 people, as well as extensive cooking utensils and a basic supply of spices (salt/pepper/vinegar/oil/sugar).
Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate dining room with a large table and seating for 8 people.
The living area is furnished with comfortable sofas and recliners with a lying function.
The cozy Bullerjan wood-burning stove provides additional warmth and coziness.
A flat-screen TV, a modern hi-fi system with an iPhone/iPad connection, and a selection of games and reading material complete the picture. From the living room, you can access the sun terrace, which is furnished with a table and chairs. On the 1st floor of the house are the 3 bedrooms and the modernly furnished bathroom.
Bedroom 1 is equipped with a king-size bed for tall people (1.80 m x 2.10 m) with an open foot end, as well as a sofa bed. Bedroom 2 contains a queen-size bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m), also with an open foot end, and bedroom 3 has a French bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m) and a single bed (0.90 m x 2.00 m). A linen package (bed linen plus 2 towels) can be booked for an additional charge. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink with a shelf, a walk-in shower, a bathtub, a full-length mirror, a hairdryer, a cosmetic mirror, soap, and toilet paper. Welcome to the holiday home Burg Heider Mühle, idyllically situated between Lampaden and Heddert, near Burg Heid on Heidkopf mountain, which reaches an altitude of 530 m above sea level. Leave everyday life behind and relax with the whole family, and feel free to bring your dog along to the holiday home, which was renovated in 2020 and offers a total of 150 m² of living space.
Enjoy the 6,000 m² garden with direct access to the Ruwer river and the large sun terrace furnished with a table and seating for 6 people.
In winter, you can get cozy by the rustic wood-burning stove in the living room. The old mill is framed by the Ruwer river on one side and the former millstream on the other.
Today, its water powers a turbine that supplies Burg Heid and the mill with environmentally friendly electricity. In the 1960s, the mill, which was operational until then, was converted into a comfortable family home.
The house was completely renovated internally in 2017; in the autumn of 2020, it was fully refitted as a holiday home. The holiday home features central heating, a parking space, storage for bicycles, Wi-Fi (fiber optic connection), satellite TV, and a hi-fi system with an iPhone/iPad connection. Included: Water, electricity, heating, fast Wi-Fi (fiber optic), firewood, starter pack (e.g., toilet paper, dishwasher tabs), final cleaning. Extra: Upon request, we are happy to provide bed linen and towels. These will be charged at 15 Euros (2027 20€) per person per stay. Dogs are welcome.

Heerlijk rustige omgeving. Het huis ligt direct aan rivier de Ruwer waar we vaak met de hond even naar toe liepen. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Keuken is heel ruim uitgerust. Alles is aanwezig. Prettige ontvangst door de eigenaar.
Als je tot rust wilt komen is dit een echte aanrader. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Koelte in huis gezien we tijdens hittegolf verbleven. Daarnaast is het een zeer ruim en fijn huis om langer in te verblijven. Lekker in de ochtend wandelend naar de bakker en zeer rustig met een kabbelende beek op achtergrond
Het was wel warm in de slaapkamer, ramen wel open tegenover elkaar zonder insecten dus dat was wel fijn.
Tolles Haus mit direktem Zugang zum Fluss.
