Downtown Porec includes the Old town of Poreč and the area extending to 600 m from the start of the famous ancient Roman street called Decumanus. The Old town cannot be reached by car, while other areas are reacheable by vehicles or by foot. The city is therefore surrounded by several parking lots to be used for a fee. The Old Town is suitable for those who, in the summer, do not mind a lively city life, backpackers and travelers who continue their journey to Venice, Triest, Ljubljana and Pula. While Massa Lombarda area is perfect for those who are bothered by the city noise and want to be close to the old town and a few minutes walk away from the beach.
