Located at an altitude of about 300m at the gates of the Canigou, sheltered by many trees and crossed by the small river Llech (known for its extraordinary canyon) the campsite proudly bears the name of the "sacred mountain of the Catalans". In the spring a reservoir is put in the river, creating an exceptional natural swimming pool with a depth of 1.50m max.

The Canigou is a perfect base for your hikes, short or longer, at all levels. The possibilities for walks are truly amazing. Many of the walks are described in a binder at your disposal, which will be offered to you on arrival. Do you want to play golf, go horseback riding, mountain biking, tennis or go fishing? All this is possible in the surroundings of Espira de Conflent

On the service side, you will find a bread depot and a cosy snack bar on the spot and its beautiful terrace in the shade of the plane tree murres with the Restaurant.
