It is surrounded by a lot of greenery and therefore, it is not uncommon to come across olive groves and cypress trees on one of your walking trails. The historical significance of the village is immense, glimpses of which can be witnessed in its various monuments, historical buildings like churches, fountains and museums that are home to artifacts going back to several centuries. The local gastronomy is worth exploring too.
