This holiday home, completely clad in local granite and sensitively integrated into the existing vegetation on a hillside above a bay, offers the best conditions for a relaxing holiday.
The holiday accommodation consists of a day and night area on the ground floor, connected under an arbour, and a bright converted basement (a small, fully furnished mini-apartment with five windows, a glass door and separate access). Spread over these two floors, guests have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, a mini-kitchen, a living room and a sunny, shaded veranda at their disposal. The three bedrooms, two of which can be air-conditioned, are each furnished with a double bed. There are also two bunk beds (more suitable for children), a fixed extra bed (in the basement) and, if required, a pull-out double sofa bed in the living room. The three bathrooms, all with shower and toilet, mean that occupancy by up to eight people is no problem. The kitchen has the usual appliances such as a 4-burner gas hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and microwave. Washing machine in the day toilet.
The 1200 m² property is fully fenced. A fruit and vegetable garden offer not only a relaxing ambience, but also plenty of privacy. The pool (4 x 8 x 1.30 to 1.60 m) is available from June to September, solar-heated and therefore with weather-dependent water temperature, and is for the exclusive use of guests. A cold water shower and another solar-heated shower are located in the outdoor area. Guests can relax in peace and quiet on the terrace next to the pool, a sunbathing area to the south and a sunbathing area to the north. The entire complex is not visible to passers-by or neighbours. From the living room, the pergola and the sunbathing area facing the sea, you have a marvellous view of the Strait of Bonifacio, the surrounding islands and Corsica. Towards the south, on the other hand, there is a wonderfully calming view of the unspoilt interior with its typical vegetation, the maquis, interspersed with grey Sardinian granite rocks. A barbecue under dense cork oaks next to the stone-carved well and the large granite table invites you to end the day with a cosy barbecue in the open air.
You can bring your own bed linen and towels or provide them for an extra charge.
The holiday home is located two to three km from the village centre, the fishing, yacht and ferry harbour. Here you will find - in keeping with a holiday village of 4000 inhabitants - every shopping opportunity, 6 supermarkets, elegant and simple restaurants, pizzerias, etc. The nearest beach is located below the villa in the bay of Porto Quadro, approx. 800 metres away. As a special feature, there is a separate, demarcated and supervised dog beach. Many other sandy and dune beaches can be found within a radius of a few kilometres to the east and west. The holiday accommodation is approx. 60 km from the airport and ferry port of Olbia and approx. 120 km from the airport and ferry port of Alghero. As there are no public transport links, a car is strongly recommended.
