This charming stone house awaits its guests in the small traditional town of Portbail-sur-Mer with its shops, restaurants and harbour, facing south-east and with its own garden (approx. 500 m2 around the house), it also shares a large garden of approx. 1000 m2 planted with fruit trees with a small wooden house at the end of the property (also rented out in summer). Its location on the west coast of the Cotentin makes it an ideal starting point for excursions in the region: the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, Sainte-Mère-Eglise and Utah Beach, Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue and the island of Tatihou, Cap de la Hague and its breathtaking landscapes, the Parc des Marais du Cotentin and Bessin and many more other treasures of the department.

The house was completely renovated in 2009 and can accommodate up to four people on two levels of 110 m².the living room consists of a cosy lounge (TV, Bluetooth speakers), a dining area and an open kitchen equipped with modern and complete appliances. There is also on the ground floor one of the two bedrooms with two single beds of 90 cm and an en-suite shower room with WC. The master bedroom of 40 m² with beautiful exposed beams, a double bed (140 x 180 cm) and a desk is upstairs and also has its own shower room with WC.

In front of the house you will find a table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy the view of the garden.A barbecue and deckchairs are available for guests in the storage room next to the house, where you will also find a tumble dryer.

Bicycles can be hired from a professional in the town.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available. The house is classified with 3 stars by the tourism association.

The town centre with all important shops is within walking distance (approx. 500 m). The sea reaches the town centre at high tide and Portbail beach is only two kilometres away (a beautifully landscaped coastal path allows you to get there on foot or by bike). Ferries to the islands of Guernsey and Jersey run from Carteret harbour, about 7 kilometres away, in summer.
