Large, luxuriously furnished flat for short and long term rental This flat comprises the entire ground floor of a detached house. It is quietly situated in a small side street with little traffic in Weligama, district Walliwala. The landlord lives in the same house on the upper floor. The distance to the sea is about 1.5 km.
Outside we offer you a large terrace with garden furniture, table and barbecue facilities. Furthermore, there is a well-kept lawn area for sports activities (badminton, football). The property is completely surrounded by a wall and is therefore also suitable for children.
Parking facilities are available on the spacious plot.
The flat has a very spacious and luxurious living area with air conditioning, fans, couch, TV area, large mahogany wardrobes and is furnished with tiles and carpets. The bathroom is enormous by Sri Lankan standards and offers a double washbasin, bathtub, separate shower area, toilet, bidet and mirrored wall cupboards. Towels, soap and toilet paper are provided.
The distance to the sandy beach is approx. 1.5 km. The beach promenade with restaurants, cafes, bars (disco in the evening) is approx. 2 km away. The nearest public swimming pool with a 50 m pool is 10 km away.
The town centre with shopping facilities (supermarkets, bakeries, clothes shops, jewellers......) is about 2km away. There are a variety of excursion possibilities such as close to us some Buddhist temples, the Blue Hole, the Portuguese fortress Galle Fort, the Sinharaja Rainforest, a turtle farm, the Koggala Lake, city tours (Galle), all-day tours to the Yala National Park or Udawalawe National Park or even multi-day round trips to get to know Sri Lankan culture and history.
The flat has free Wi-Fi and bicycles are available for exploring the surrounding area. A pump pressure system is installed to increase the water pressure (water pressure: 4 bar).
