Charming traditional Canarian house with over 150 years of history can be felt in its thick stone walls and original wooden floors.
Located in the neighborhood of La Calera, between small pedestrian streets full of charm, the house stands on the beach, the neighborhood Borbalan and the Natural Park of Valle Gran Rey, of which so far only a few minutes. In continuous process of restoration, since 2008, was the vacation home of poetess Celia Askanova, of whom it is named. In its restoration has given special importance to respect the original layout and materials being a clear example of traditional Canarian architecture of the nineteenth century. Reflected in wooden floors and ceilings and typical Canarian cuisine.

Casa Askanova has three floors: The apartment Askanova( is the ground floor ) and two floor more.

The ground floor ( apartment Askanova) has a terrace and garden furniture, a double bedroom with double bed, bathroom, kitchen-living room with sofa bed 1.60 * 2.00.
The the rest of the house ( first and second floor) has : two double bedrooms, one bathroom, living room with sofa-bed ( 1,60 * 2,00) has DVD, wifi, SAT ASTRA TV, music, reading lamp, table games ... etc, traditional Canarian cuisine. The top of the house is the solarium equipped with garden furniture and seaview. the house has washing machine.

Both kitchens has a toaster, kettle, espresso machine and electric, cooker, blender ... etc.

Casa Askanova is rented in different options:

1-4 persons : First and second floor (But if the customer want, they could rent the whole house too.)
5 persons: All house ( ground floor, first and second floor)

In case the customer are 4 persons, the apartment Askanova can be rented to another customer.
Askanova House is 5 minutes drive from the beach of La Calera, and a few minutes drive from the natural reserve of Valle Gran Rey and 25 minutes drive from Garajonay National Park. It is also the ideal starting point for hiking and active sightseeing.
