The outdoor area is shared by the two cottages with the main house, which is inhabited by the owner.

If you are arriving by car, you can use the secure parking spaces directly in front of the cottages on the enclosed grounds. And although the owner, living in the main house next door, naturally always respects your privacy, he is readily available to assist you with any questions you may have. The holiday cottages are located approximately 1 km from the nearest long sandy beach in Covehurst Bay, which is also easily accessible on foot: about a 15-minute walk through a nature reserve.

Just down the road, about 100 meters away, a bus stop offers regular connections to the beach and to Hastings (about 4.8 km away).

In the center of Hastings, you have a choice of "Merry Old England" leisure activities: treat yourself to some freshly caught fish and chips after a long day at the beach, meet for afternoon cream tea in one of the quaint cafes, or let yourself be told the myths of Devon in the pub in the evening. The cottage consists of a living and dining room with plenty of natural light and an integrated, open-plan kitchen, as well as a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a second loft bedroom, and a separate bathroom.

The living room features a comfortable sofa, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, a stereo system, and a round wooden dining table with four chairs.

The adjacent white fitted kitchen is equipped with the latest appliances, including a dishwasher, a ceramic hob with an elegant stainless steel extractor hood, an oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and a coffee machine.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size double bed (180 x 200 cm) and the large loft bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be pushed together.

The en-suite bathroom is equipped with a modern shower cubicle, a sink with a wall mirror, a hairdryer, and a toilet.

The separate bathroom next to the living room is similarly equipped but has a bathtub with a shower attachment.

There is also a washing machine in the entrance area for your use.

A high chair for a toddler and a safe for your valuables are provided.

Bed linen and towels are provided in sufficient quantities, and the reliable, fast Wi-Fi internet connection in the holiday home can be used free of charge. If you don't want to go on holiday without your pet, it is also welcome on request.

A 15-minute walk to Covehurst Bay beach leads through a gorge with waterfalls and wildlife.

It takes 45 minutes to walk from the cottage to Hastings via the paths of the nature reserve.

Local buses run every 15 minutes to Hastings and the train station, or a taxi costs only £7.
