The converted and renovated barn is part of an 18th century farmhouse in a quiet and rural location on a large plot of land about 10 minutes from a nature reserve (Marias Vernier) and not far from Pont Audemer, 20 minutes from Honfleur.

The house has a terrace with deckchairs, parasol, barbecue and garden furniture as well as a private, enclosed garden of 300 m². From there you have a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside. Guests can park their vehicle in a private car park.

The approx. 80 m² house from 1789 can accommodate four people on two levels. It was tastefully renovated in 2015, combining authentic decoration with modern, contemporary elements and lots of wood. On the ground floor there is the living room with leather sofa and TV with digital TV as well as the kitchen with a view of the forest and the bathroom with shower and WC. The kitchen is fully equipped with a two-ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The two bedrooms are located on the first floor. The first is furnished with a double bed of 180 x 200 cm, the second with two single beds of 90 x 200 cm each. There is heating in all rooms and wireless internet is also available.

The historic holiday home is located directly in the 'Marais Vernier' nature reserve, an exceptionally beautiful place that transports you into nature, which you can discover on foot during wonderful hikes, by bike or on horseback. There is also a bird sanctuary for migratory birds. Those interested in culture will be delighted by the beautiful towns of Honfleur (approx. 45 min.), Caen and the beaches of the 'Débarquement', La Havre (Unesco World Heritage Site) and Rouen. The nearest supermarket is approx. 10 km away in Pont Audemer, a pretty, picturesque little village with numerous other shops for daily needs such as a bakery, butcher, patisserie, fruit shop etc..
