The location is ideal for touring. The owners , Nora & Tom , were very attentive and helpful, a lovely couple. The interior is slightly dated but you know that before visiting , more importantly it is perfectly clean.

I loved the quietness & peacefulness of Lakeside Lodge. Also loved that I was able to bring my furry friend along. The house contained everything I needed and both Nora and her husband were lovely to meet. Sorry I didn't get to speak to Nora again the morning I left. I would recommend this home to anyone.

The cottage was ideal for our 1 week stay, along with our dog. Everything there that you need, along with a lovely garden where we sat some evenings, enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down over Bantry Bay!
Also, it is ideally situated for touring West Cork. Highly recommended!
