The picturesque half-timbered town of Rinteln is 10 km away.

Many are familiar with the Doktorsee for swimming or the Bodega-Beach Bar, known far beyond the borders of Rinteln.
Further shopping and dining options can be found in the town of Hessisch Oldendorf (7km).
Excellent restaurants are also located at the nearby Schaumburg castle and on the Paschenburg.
