"La Bottega di Giacomino" was originally the residence of the guardian of the noble palace. Today it evokes an ancient and unique atmosphere thanks to the refined design elements our guests will find.
La Bottega di Giacomino is a succession of rooms and spacious alcoves that house a contemporary kitchen, a large living room that can accommodate up to six people, an open space suitable for children or couples, a comfortable double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and a bathroom. A large, cosy, richly furnished and air-conditioned flat, where the extraordinary ceiling is interrupted by a play of vaults that intersect in an unpredictable manner, almost as if to delimit the individual rooms. The spaces blend pleasantly with the period furniture and precious fabrics that give this place its aristocratic and captivating flavour.
Parking is available inside our courtyard, protected by an automatic gate.
Palazzo Vinci is located in the heart of Fermo, close to numerous historical sites and attractions. The historic centre of Fermo is enclosed by the 14th-century Sforza walls, with gates and towers. The gateways still visible are dedicated to Saints Anthony, Catherine and Julian. The heart of the city is the main square, Piazza del Popolo, enclosed between two wide rows of arcades, one of Fermo's most evocative places. Here you will find the Palazzo dei Priori, seat of the municipality, the Pinacoteca and the Piceno Archaeological Museum. The Pinacoteca houses works from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, including works by artists from the Marche region. The Archaeological Museum exhibits artefacts from pre-Roman Fermo, including belts, urns and contemporary gold jewellery. Inside the palace is the Sala del Mappamondo, entirely decorated in walnut, which houses the Municipal Library, one of the richest in the Marche region and among the top ten in Italy. Dating back to 1511, it houses 128 codices, over 400,000 volumes, 686 incunabula (the oldest dating back to 1470), Fermo boasts 6,000 fine prints and over 2,000 drawings. Fermo is rich in churches, the most famous of which is undoubtedly the Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, or Fermo Cathedral. It is located in the upper part of the city, next to the Diocesan Museum. Inside the cathedral, you can visit the excavations, including the impressive mosaic of the pagan temple. The entire area has a vantage point, known as the Belvedere or Piazzale del Grifalco. The Teatro dell'Aquila is one of the largest opera houses in Italy, with a capacity of about 1,000 seats, 124 boxes and 350 square metres of stage space. Six original scenes and autographs by Alessandro Sanquirico are preserved here.
On top of the Colle Girfalco stands the charming town of Fermo, about 6 km from the Adriatic Sea. Fermo is one of the most important centres in the region thanks to its history, business activities and its tourist and cultural events, which are renewed every year. It is characterised by an imposing cathedral and its territory can be divided into two parts: the historical part, dating back to medieval times, and the other urban areas. The territory is a mix of sea and hills, from wide beaches to beautiful villages overlooking the sea. The province of Fermo includes 40 municipalities: Montegiorgio, Smerillo, Porto Sant'Elpidio, Amandola, Pedaso, Moresco, Campofilone, Falerone and many others. The coastline is characterised by long beaches, including the equipped beach of Porto Sant'Elpidio, Lido di Fermo, Casabianca, the seafront of Porto San Giorgio, the coves of Pedaso, Marina di Altidona, etc. In a more scenic area is the romantic medieval village of Torre di Palme, which stands on a high promontory near Marina Palmense, a visit is highly recommended! Not to be missed are the Gole dell'Infernaccio gorges, close to the Sibillini Mountains.
Finally, to thank you for your trust, we will open the doors to the most evocative part of Palazzo Vinci Gigliucci, the Piano Nobile, once inhabited by the patricians of this illustrious family. In this enchanting place, time seems to have stood still; everything has remained as it was in the 19th century, when it was inhabited by the Vinci Gigliucci family; frescoes, mirrors and works of great historical value are preserved, ready to open up before your eyes and transport you to a distant past that you will hardly forget.
