Salò, the erstwhile capital of Garda has a long promenade along the lakefront which offers a pleasant walking opportunity. There are numerous cafes and restaurants where visitors can stop by and admire the beauty of the lake. Other sites worth visiting from the town are its museum, amphitheater, botanical gardens and the incredible Isola del Garda. The cycling route connecting Riva with Limone is worth visiting.
