In contact with nature. Borgo Antico is a beautiful farmhouse on the high hills separating the wide green Valdichiana from the high Tevere valley. Situated on the border between Tuscany and Umbria it is the ideal place for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday in contact with nature and old rural traditions, far from the noise and frenzy of the city.
The location. The Etruscan city of Cortona is approx. 18 km far, and in 5 or max. 10 km you can reach restaurants and small shops for basic food.
Pool, external spaces and typical Tuscan meals. Close to the villa there is a wide green area equipped with outdoor furniture and a 6x12 m swimming pool (depth 1,20-2,40 m, completely fenced - open from 01st May to 30th September). The villa is furnished with typical good quality Tuscan pieces and satellite TV. At full guests' disposal there is a barbecue, a wood-burning oven and the possibility to taste and buy good extra virgin olive oil and others typical products. On request the owner can provide some basic food shopping for the arrival day and every Tuesday he can prepare typical Tuscan dinners. Pets are welcome (extra charge could be required). GROUND FLOOR: large dining room with stone walls, kitchen and guest bathroom (basin and toilet). FIRST FLOOR: accessible only via an external stone staircase, comprising a living room with stone fireplace, three double bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed (for children up to 12 years old), and two bathrooms with showers. ATTIC: accessed via an internal staircase, living room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed and single bed (for children up to 12 years old) and en-suite bathroom with bathtub. DEPENDANCE: small stone cottage adjacent to the farmhouse, on two levels, with a small living room on the ground floor and a double bedroom with bathroom with shower on the first floor. EQUIPMENT: - Refrigerator with freezer, high chair, dishwasher, oven, toaster, juicer, filter coffee maker, blender, capsule coffee machine, microwave - Washing machine, iron, table tennis, bowling green - Satellite TV, CD and DVD player, Wi-Fi Internet access INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE: Private pool is open from 01/05 to 30/09. Bed linen and bathroom towels (Initial set). Swimming pool and garden maintenance. One baby bed and an high chair (for children up to 3 years) on request at time of booking. NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE: Breakage deposit Euro 300 (payable in cash on your arrival and held by the owner for the duration of your stay). During their stay, should travellers cause any damage to the property, they will be liable for the associated costs. Heating Euro 7 per m3 (if used). Pets are welcome on payment of Euro 5 each one per day. If ordered in advance swimming towels can be hired on site on payment of Euro 3 each. Wood for fireplace Euro 15 each 100 kg (if used). Tourist tax Euro 2,50 per person per day, applied for the first 4 days only. Children up to 12 years do not pay. Sheets change Euro 5 per person. Bath towels change Euro 5 per person. It is not possible to recharge electric cars at the house, but it is necessary to go to charging stations located a few kilometres away.

Gli spazi esterni e la piscina
Attrezzerei poco di più la cucina , bollilatte ,qualche padella grande in più,uno scolapasta più grande ,visto che il casale può ospitare 16 persone e metterei una tenda per la vasca del bagno in mansarda,cmq stupidaggini,tutto davvero bellissimo

Het zwembad en het dagelijks onderhoud ervan (!), het uitzicht, het terras met grote tafel en schaduwdoek, de directe omgeving, de ruimte waarover je beschikt
Afwezigheid van airco (vooral de kamers onder het dak hadden last van de warmte). Slechte kwaliteit van de tafelstoelen buiten. Soms iets te ver afgelegen van winkels en restaurants.
